Calling all future journalists, techies, graphic artists, customer service agents and marketers!

The Cambridge Winter Hawks Junior Hockey Club are offering a unique volunteer opportunity for all high school aged students in the Cambridge area.

Starting this year, we are reaching out to local high school students looking to complete their 40 hours of community service. We have numerous positions to match a variety of skill sets that will also aid students in preparing for post-secondary careers.

We are currently seeking students with any of the following interests:- Journalism – Writing news, sports articles and blogging- Guest services- Photography and videography- Graphic design – Designing posters and marketing materials strict to a style guide- Html coders, php coders, or web-based designers- Pep-rally and special event coordinators

Our volunteer program gives full credit to our volunteers. That being, if a student publishes their work with our hockey club, they can utilize that towards portfolio building, which many universities and colleges are looking at to better indicate successful applicants (beyond that of just grades).

Your hometown Junior Hockey Club runs on a volunteer basis. Without the skills, drive and ambition of our volunteers, the Cambridge Winter Hawks organization would be difficult to sustain.
