Hey HAWKey Fans!

Kidz Zone Night is quickly approaching. In fact, it’s this Saturday! Coupled with Minor Hockey Night in Cambridge, it is a night devoted to our young fans and this great hockey community!

Here’s what’s happening:

Poster Contest- DOOR CRASHER- Bring in a self-made Cambridge Winter Hawks poster to the game. The best, according to age group (3-7, 8-12), will win a prize and be posted on the website! All posters will be hung in the arena on December 3rd! This is part of the Kidz Zone Greatest Fan contest!

Loudest Fan- Bring a noise maker, make some noise, and cheer on your favourite team! The Cambridge Winter Hawks will have a secret judge searching the crowds for the loudest fan! This is part of the Kidz Zone Greatest Fan contest!

Most Decorated Fan- Dress up, wear, or paint all the red, black and white you can to show off your Winter Hawks spirit! There will also be a secret judge searching the crowd for the most decorated fan! Have your picture taken and put up on the website! This is part of the Kidz Zone Greatest Fan contest!

It’s also Minor Hockey Night in Cambridge. We’ve teamed up with local hockey organizations to bring out as many young teams as possible to celebrate minor hockey! Come out and cheer on your favourite team, show off your hockey team, and much more. Teams from Hespeler and Cambridge will be lining up with the Cambridge Winter Hawks for the national anthem and pre-game ceremonies.

The Winter Hawks are facing off against the Owen Sound Greys. Look for it to be a solid matchup, and a great opportunity for Cambridge to string a couple of wins together!
